Hi all, I'am looking for a front drivers side fog light for my 05 turbo Copen and a front bumper grill as there is a bigger hole in it than is normal, any help in my quest wil be much appreciated. I have tried several brakers with no luck, I found some one with a new grill but they want £250+vat and after the amount of money I have just spent on getting the rust and the wheels sorted I cannot afford that kind of money at the moment. If I connot get used grill I will have to wait and save up for a new one. It is the light that I want to get sort ASP as it has a hole in it's lens and water is getting into it.
Hi TAF. I was thinking about £100-£150 as I do not have clue about what they are going for used as I have yet to see one for sale.
That is what I was thinking TAF, if I do have to buy a brand new one I might see about getting one of thoughts off EBay from Japan.
The hole was in it when bought the car, I did not spot it till first wash the car it is not a big hole just one of the matrix bit was missing like a small stone had hit it or something had been at attached too it and been rip off. I know it is only a bit of plastic about 1.5cm long but it is like the most gorgeous woman you can imagine with one of her front teeth missing, and I want her to be perfect.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Daihatsu-...r-Light-Right-side-Drivers-Side-/251256338376 Is this what your after? You would also pay import tax on this too though.
Hi Adam. I did look at that thank you for that. Do you know how much I would have to pay on top of it's list price for the importation tax? As I have never imported anything into this country before it would worry me a little, would I be better off just paying what the trader in this country wants?
I can't use the duty calc now as used up my free allotment. But approximately for the item at £69+ £14 p+p gives £83. So VAT will be about £16, import duty (hmm prob not more than 10%) say £8. This gives abut £107 plus post office service charge may take it to around the £110 mark. I'd not expect it to be under £105.
Wow, sneaky I did try firefox but that said my freebies were used up also, maybe I had used it via that in the past. I'll have to look for the invisibility cloak mode then.
The allowance is based on cookies - clearing cookies will also "reset" your allowance. The downside being that you now have to login to all your sites again. Anyway, I'm going off topic.
Hi All, Last time I received Car Parts from Japan I incurred the following charges: Import Duty 4.5% VAT 20% Post Office Admin Fee £13.50. So not much Change out of £100.00 Plus Shipping Costs. Ken.
I tried duty calculator in incognito window and it still said I had used my free allotment and have to join/pay to calculator more time.
Got to cheaper buying used from Japan than buying new form the UK! If there are no used ones in the UK, I'd buy it.
