For aftermarket oil filter you can use a D-Sport Copen filter (available via Japan), or a Mahle OC487.

Both will fit through the hole in the engine bay. The blueprint filter cannot fit properly, as it's just a tiny bit too big.

Don't forget the special oil filter tool to get it off and on.

    Hi,

Got the filter and removal tool on my desk.

The filter isn't branded but just has the number D102004/YACMCS on it. The box has a logo "SA plus union jack and the no - D102004)

As I say, got the lot from my local motor factor for around a tenner.

    The search continues.

I Ordered a Mahle OC487 months ago ,so today i decided to service the car with it ,got the old filter off ok got my new filter out and DISASTER the filter was a Mahle OC215 the wrong size!!! had been sent and i had not checked it.

Ive just looked and cant find a filter that fits anywhere?

Does anyone have a LINK to a compatible filter 50mm high one?

I've been told, never tried it myself, that the Blueprint filter is just small enough to fit through the engine bay hole.

I asked MicksGarage to measure the height of the filter - here is the image they sent. Free postage if you buy a few of them (> 30 EUR / 30 GBP total order cost)

Looks like filter you took off is the blueprint one I listed :)

The local motor factors had to order the smaller one in as all the ones in stock were too big. Would be interested to know how much people are paying for them as I thought the one I purchased was mightily expensive.

It's coming up as £22! The MicksGarage link comes up as 18 EUR (dunno what their price is in pounds) which is considerably more affordable.
