    Hi,

just bought my Copen yesterday, so really excited. Was looking for a powerboost and then the first thing you read is that changing the ecu can only be done on Japanese models but since mine (2004) was imported from Japan to the Netherlands it must be a Japanese model, right?

Just checking before I order the d-sport ecu…..

    Thanks in advance!

I think the easiest way to know is if you look at the tac. If you're red line is at 8.5k you have a Japanese model. If it's 8k then it's an EU one.

Dsport ECU is probably the easiest way to get extra power if you have access to 98 octane.

Ah it’s a good excuse to start modifying the air intake, exhaust etc

Yea man. Any hp gains you can get are genuinely noticeable since it weighs so little.
