Hi did anyone see the advert recently for 2008 Daihatsu Copen 1.3 Roadster 2dr 2 Doors, Manual, Convertible, Petrol, 1 miles, Silver £3,333- wot a bargain !!! yes one mile , it was still in the showroom, its still on ebay though, showing as sold - why ? wonder if its advertising for the garage ?
Well, Creeps, I've done a bit of research on this one. First off this current page on Autotrader http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/...size/1.2/sort/default/page/2/onesearchad/used has three 1.3 Copens with very low mileages (one with just 5000!) - some folks obviously don't enjoy driving their Copens, certainly if it's less than 1000 miles/year! You'll see two Copens on this page with a photo collage just like the ebay one. If you go to the seller's site (Cabroilet Coupe) they have 6 Copens up http://www.cabrioletcoupe.co.uk/used-cars/search-results?make=DAIHATSU including the £3333 x 1 miler one. You'll note that the 57 plate one with 12K on the clock is going for £6 248, so there's no way they'd sell a 08 plater with one mile on it for £3333, so I reckon that someone made a typo putting in the mileage. What'd'ya reckon???
Hi Jules thank you for the reply when I first saw this my first response , was wish I had seen this before it was sold, but the more I thought about it , was something is fishy here, did not ring true ! I expected to see a 1 infront infront of the the £3,333 regards
I'm sure I've seen it on eBay before. I think they use the cars to get people to contact them and then they are mysteriously sold But they do have a similar more expensive one with higher mileage if you have fallen in love with it! You just can't trust second hand car salesmen these days - what is the world coming to?
Hi Jules looking again at the pictures from Cabroilet Coupe , at the one advertised for £5299 and the one at £3333, it appears to be the same car, same positioning in the forecourt, nothing in the background has changed , interesting rergards sally
