Just curious, does the first gen L880K Copen share a platform or chassis with any other cars? If so what cars does it share with?

No unfortunately, that would be handy for stealing parts off the other cars! There are quite a few little bits here and there which have Toyota part numbers though, including the interior door handles for example, and some that seem to swap from Toyota models.

I haven't been able to confirm this yet, but a Japanese site tells me Toyota MX5 Air Vent Balls are a direct swap, which is nice because they're available chromed. They're £40 though so I'm looking for a second hand normal one to test before I go buying things that might not fit :p

One of the Spare Parts group on FB happens to have a 'garage full of both' and confirms they do fit. :D

Used to have a White Copen, but I sold it in 2023
From what I heard the Copen is very close to the L7 Cuore. It also shares some parts with the Sirion.
VinPetrol: You mean the Mazda MX5? :D

I have no excuse except possible early senility  Yes, MAZDA MX5 mk1 to mk 2.5 vent balls to be both correct and more specific.
