Hoping you don't think of me that way after reading this post! I have a 2002 Copen 0.7 and I have just had a full service done which fixed the bad brakes. The chap did a really good job saying he also found the old sparkplugs were too long, replaced the badly worn fan belts, set the handbrake to a few notches etc. He replaced the engine oil with 5W-30 (at my request) but I think he over-filled it. Here comes the silly dip stick question... Are the two little holes in the dip stick the actual markers for the high and low levels or is it the point where the stick has that angles set into it that is the high marker? He has filled to between the top hole and the bottom of the angles in the dipstick. I don't want to go back and ask him to remove oil until it is below the high hole and then find out he was correct after all. Thanks for any suggestions, David
because engine holds so little oil the top hole of the dib stick is were it wants to be.you should check oil often.because if car is burning or loseing some oil.it starves the turbo
Thanks, Richard! I have just booked it in again for tomorrow to reduce the oil level. Sorry for the simple question but I just wanted to be sure. I tried rigging up a suction device using narrow bore irrigation line and a hand spray to pump the oil out of the dip stick tube but it was taking forever
