Hi, thanks for reading ... My Copen has its standard Clarion CD1500R radio CD. I don't have the owners manual for it and the Clairon website does not list it anymore. A few seconds after any button has been pressed the display will start showing a 'moving squiggly line' that goes round and round and round .... and is a bit teadious. My question is, can anybody tell me how to turn this 'feature' off. Thanks, Ross
Hi Ross and welcome. I have the manual but I'm ill at the moment so tomorrow I'll get the manual from the car and give you an answer. M.
Thanks Pikachu. I'm better now but I've lost almost a stone due to "it" coming out both ends. haha. Sorry Ross, my model is different. But if you have the following, it might be worth a try. "Press the SS button while keeping the BND button pressed to turn the screen saver on or off". or.. "Press the DISP button while keeping the bnd button pressed toswitch the display indication. If this doesn't work then I'm beat. M.
Hi M, I hope you are feeling better again. Thanks very much for taking the trouble to find that information and posting it for me. I can confirm that holding the SS and Band buttons together worked perfectly, the display said 'SS Off' and I haven't been bothered by it since. So thanks again. Ross
Copenistas, I just changed my battery and the radio doesnt work. Its a Clarion CD1500R. Ive reset it and all the front lights up including all the buttons and volume control and it then just sits there looking pretty. Your thoughts ? Ned:-((
