I’ve had my copen for over a year, and I have never had any issues with the boot / roof. Recently the light for the boot on the dash has stayed permanently red and when I press the boot opening button from the inside nothing happens. I tried the pull lever which releases the lock but the two side parts of my boot don’t pop up and open with it which doesn’t allow the boot to fully open. Today I pushed the button (red light still on) and the boot popped open fine (second time this has happened since), I then shut the boot and once again press the button and it no longer opens. On occasion the boot seems to pop open on the button, but only on its terms. If I use the cable lever it will not open fully. The roof does not work either. Any thoughts as what to do when the boot randomly pops open again on command? I’ve tried disconnecting the battery to see if it will reset the mechanism but no luck. Not really sure where to go from here. I’m confused as to why sometimes it opens and other times it does nothing. Maybe faulty electrics? Please help me!
