Boost controller

    Does Copen come with boost controller?

    Nope, you need to buy an aftermarket boost controller if you want to up the boost.

    Don't increase the boost too high or the standard ecu will cut in to protect the engine.
    You need to buy a sports ECU or an FCD (fuel cut defender) to get around this.
    You should also fit a decent boost gauge so you know what boost you are running.

    Hi Adam, thanks for the advice... looks like the original boost is about 1.1 correct?

    To be honest, I thought the standard boost was less than that.
    Maybe a previous owner has already fitted a boost controller?

    As far as I know the boost is 0.9! I've red it somewhere...but I dunno where.:eek:

    hi just fitted my boost controler standad boost is 0.8/0.9 running mine at 1.3bar any more will shut the fuel off from the ecu as it thinks it has a turbo problem hope this helps......
