Hi guys, as a little birthday treat for the missis ill be upgrading the system in her Copen for something a little more tasty in June. I've already bought and installed a new head unit which is a huge improvement over the standard Clarion unit....even if its not the best brand! She wanted a white one so the only ones really available were the marine units from Pyle! It sounds pretty nice tbh Ill probably be going for some Focal components plus use my old Alpine 2 channel V12 amp and just go for a small active 8" sub either in the boot or one of the small under seat ones... as there's not exactly loads of room Have I got it correct saying they're 6.5" mids in the doors? Ill probably mount the tweeters in the a pillars. Ill also be doing a little sound deadening with Silent Coat to the doors to give a little extra kick to the bass, any tips on trim removal would be a great help!

Thanks Adam, ill take a look at that link later on my laptop. Yeah the depth did worry me a bit, ill try one of my old Focals in there first with an mdf spacer before buying new ones. Fingers crossed 165 will be ok
