    So far all the ones I've seen on eBay are... well... dodgy.

    Preferably with either black or silver paint.

    One was a cat D writeoff, another had severe rust damage.

    I don't agree. Maybe your search setting is wrong. I can see many of 1.3 copens that doesn't mention anything like cat d. Of course there are several cat d copens I can see though... Not all...
