I recently got my copen serviced and was told that my oil filter needed changing. The thing is the workshop didn't carry the stock and I was told to buy one myself.

I'm wondering if there is anyone who knows a reasonable copen parts dealer in Singapore, I tried calling the main distributor (Sin Tien Seng Pte Ltd) and was quoted SGD36 for a single oil filter. (I've checked online and found that it only costs less than SGD10.)

It is 1.3 engine 2009 model with 90.000kms on.

Daihatsu garage quoted me a price of 1130€ for both OEM front and rear absorbers.
I am trying to find alternatives and i am open to ideas for anything else please.

I found this kit which comes at a much better price, but is it going to work with my copen or the specs are only for the 660cc model?...

Sills because of the construction with age seem to turn into Biscuits, therefore for all Copen owners a serious issue, however very few folks are talking about it?

Firms are making some replacement parts for Daihatsu models BUT not Copens.... Tried The Brittons, Hepworths, SG Petch, now with no hope I'm still reluctant to scrap my car, anyone out there with any...

I just bought my Copen and love it !
The only question is , can I go to the Toyota dealer for spare parts and repairs or can someone give me a tip where to go to in South Africa, Western Cape?
I am living in Plettenberg Bay, with a big Toyota dealer 20 min away .
As far as I know Toyota bought Daihatsu a couple of years ago.

Any advise as to where I could get a pair (or single) rear shock absorber from ? My little copen has failed it's MOT today and apparently it will take 6-8 weeks to get a pair from daihatsu !

My mechanic is currently phoning round spare parts companies trying to find a replacement

My 2004 Copen is getting some serious TLC at the moment. I've got a little issue - dealers are needing 3 weeks to deliver a manifold gasket (from Japan I'm guessing) does anyone know who stocks them in the UK?
