    Hi

    If this is for the 0.7 turbo version, I do not think that this filter is suitable as it is for the 1.3 non turbo version (height of 65mm).

    Have a look at this thread and the details below:

    https://www.copenworld.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=1459

    Type: L880 (JB-DET) – 659cc 16V Turbo (67hp – 50kW 68PS)

    Oil filter (Element Oil Filter) (Element S/A, Oil)
    Daihatsu part number: 15601-97201
    Equivalent = Mahle: OC487
    JB-DET engine
    Dimensions: 50 x 68mm (height x width) (3/4-16 UNF-2Bmm)

    Hope it helps

    Thew OC487 fits perfectly through the hole in the engine bay. Be sure to get the filter removal tool (the non-daihatsu one is cheaper)

    I bought a Copen oil filter at my local motor factor. He also sold me a removal tool which was 68mm x 14.
    I had previously bought a 65mm tool which did not fit so beware !

    Some of the filters are 68mm x 14, others are 65mm x 14. I bought both, as the seller gave me a discount.

    IIRC, the Blueprint filter, which doesn't fit in the hole, is a 65mm
