Anyone else spent several hours suffering with apparent annoying roof rattles, only to eventually realise the culprit was the passenger seat belt buckle rattling against the door?
Definitely! I was delighted to find an easy 'fix' on Copenworld by simply tucking the offending buckle into the belt guide. Aah, peace and quiet ... apart from the roof rattles ... oh, and the window or something rattling in the door. Oh well.
I've twice now got in the car after cleaning it, only to find the windows won't go up and down. After toggling the roof releases catches, opening the boot and closing it, opening and closing doors, fiddling with the roof up and down switch, I of course realised that I had inadvertently switched the child safety window switch on. I guess one can expect the windows not to go up and down when THEY ARE TURNED OFF.
Thanks for the quick and easy tip Jules. That annoying knocking has now stopped. Don't you just love this site!!!
